A very rare and fine cinnabar lidded box with 3-color polychrome decoration. 18th Century Chinese Qianlong Period. "Buddha's Hand" citron and foliage decoration on lid with interlocking diaper pattern background to sides. Mid-20th century La Continentale Menkes Brussels inventory label under lid.
