18th Century Chinese Export Famille Rose Punch Bowl 11 1/2 Inch Diameter. Authentic 18th Century Chinese Export Bowl.

Size: 11 1/2 inch diameter, 5 inches in height. While this was originally a very finely decorated bowl, it has been heavily damaged and repaired. We did not do the repair so we don't know of all of the damage.

To be noted, most of the interior open space has been repainted and has turned yellowish. It does not look pretty. The exterior looks much better but in 3 - 4 spots has been repainted. Also, there is a chip in the rim. Most of the bottom (inside foot rim) has been repainted too. Given this bowls large size and fineness of the original decoration it is a good candidate for another professional restoration. Alternatively, if you showcased the bowl at a high exterior view eye level you could appreciate the original work.
