A Fine Chinese Antique White Nephrite Jade Brush Washer: extremely skilled hand carved Chinese white jade brush washer, the washer is of oval form with a central shaped aperture of an intricate openwork network of leafy, gnarled branches bearing various flowers and continuing under the base forming the foot, the jade of translucent mottled white color with grayish tone, with a matching wood stand with silver wire inlaid design; Provenance: Christie's, label and numbered KP488/41 and 03565988.
