Up for your consideration is a very finely Chinese Carved Rock Crystal Figure, depicting a robed scholar holding a handscroll, raised on a hardwood stand. The figure stands 4.5 tall (not including the stand), and is made of the finest quality quartz with no inclusions or discernable internal flaws. Under close inspection, I have concluded that the head was broken of cleanly and restored. The break was clean and precisely under the chin around the neck. It took multiple inspections and bright light to discover this. Otherwise, the piece is free of flaws or condition concerns. This quote is for the Continental U.
