Antique Chinese Wedding Bed

This can also be used for group gathering with an Oriental or other tea table placed in the middle. Intricate carving along all sides and in golden, red and cherry brown color tones. Estimated by dealer to be from 1930's. Sourced by us from southern China (Guangzhou near Hong Kong) antique dealer in 2008. Multiple frames, joined by tongue and grove joinery.

About 7 feet (84 inches) wide, 4 feet (45 inches) deep and 6 feet high. Frame is about 1 1/2 feet from thee ground. Has a mattress and is included, if needed. This bed has rarely been used and sits in our finished attic. Covers and pillows not included.
