Antique Intricately Carved Wooden Chinese Wedding Bed Missing Canopy #7901

  

For sale is a beautifully detailed and intricately carved Chinese wedding bed. It measures a total of 85" tall 85" wide, and 75 deep. The inside mattress area measures 81" wide and 71" deep. All of the panels and uprights are present but there is some damage and missing pieces (see pictures). The piece fits together with tongue and grooves but the previous owner added metal brackets to the inside corners for reinforcement.

The back feet could stand to be repaired. There are tongues coming out of the top of the four uprights which indicates there may be a top piece missing.
