1930's Chinese Gilt Lacquer Wood Carved Altar Box with Stand - AS IS. It is 9 inches (22.8 cm) tall by 13.25 inches (33.6 cm) in length by 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide. It weighs 4.1 lb.

It has surface wears and scratches, worn paint, chips, cracks, and peeling of lacquer. The underside of the cover has a hole drilled with traces of glue. The cover also has small pieces glued back at the corners and small gaps at the corners.

The altar's railing and skirt have small pieces glued back and the side repainted. The altar has some repainting and tapes at the bottom (as seen in the photos). How we pack your item is at our discretion. We will pack your item(s) as soon as possible.

If the item suffered only partial damage, the insurer will pay for the partial loss or repair cost. You will need to provide an appraisal to prove the loss of value if you wish to claim partial loss.

If you wish to claim restoration cost, you will need to provide an estimate written by a restorer. The price will be at market price to be determined by the consignor. The price will always be more and never less. Please note that we have provided studio photos and sunlight photos in some items.
