Chinese Lobed Ming Celadon Charger w ith incised floral decoration. S turdily-potted longquan charger finely molded in the slightly convex center with upright lotus spray radiating around the cavetto, encircled by a thick, everted and barbed border/rim below the petal-fluted well, which is carved with flower designs The exterior is carved with lotus petals.

The charger is covered in an even sea-green glaze, the underside base with an unglazed circle burnt orange in the firing with an equally even glaze of a good green color. Scratches as pictured and to be expected from a + 600 year old dish that has been used. Dimension : 15" W (38 cm) and 2" (5cm) H. Weight is approximately 8.3 pounds or 3.8 kg.
