Chinese MID Ming Celadon Longquan Censer

  

Early Ming Longquan Tripod Censer measuring 6,5" in W and 3" in H. Very simple classic form with two handles, indented neck and a concentric ring. Exposed paste on the base. Condition is very good, glaze crackles (one hairline if you wish), staining throughout all good signs of the age of the piece.

The previous owner thought this was early Sung but looking at foot and base this is more typical of Ming I would say about 1550. Please check out my other items on sale. I describe items to the best of my knowledge and make it clear if I think this is a more recent piece.
