FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE LACQUER AND MOTHER OF PEARL INLAID TEA CADDY BOX ON BALL FEET - C-1860. We have the privilege to offer you an estate antique Chinese fine laquer and mother of pearl inlaid double tea caddy, having gorgeous gold detailing all over. Resting on ball feet, it measures 8 1/4 inches long, 6 inches high and 5 7/8 inches deep. It is in great condition, having no cracks other than the normal crazing in the lacquer, as shown in the photos, chips or repairs. We will break it down for you upon end of sale in the invoice.

Pine secondary woods might fracture, making overlays and veneers have the same fracture lines. Old finishes might alligator, fade, fish-eye or darken depending on where the pieces were placed. All of these are desired by a true collector and gives it personality. Do not expect these early pieces to be like new.
