Huge Old Antique Chinese Carved Melon Bead Baltic Amber Necklace 94.8 Grams

  
Up for your consideration is this SPECTACULAR, antique Chinese Baltic amber necklace!!! It consists of 39 HUGE hand carved natural Baltic amber beads which are spaced by double knots on silk thread. The beads graduate from approximately 12mm, up to just a hair under 25mm when measured from the widest area of each bead!!!! This is an unheard of size for Baltic amber and beads like this are very rare! Not only are these beads exceptionally large, they are all individually hand carved into melon forms!!! The necklace is finished with an old Chinese filigree silver clasp and two repousse silver beads. It measures approximately 29 in wearable length!!! This necklace is in EXCELLENT antique condition. These beads pass both the salt water test and the static test and are guaranteed genuine. Overall this necklace weighs a scale-tipping 94.8 grams!
