Nice Pair Chinese tea caddy, Familie Verte 18th ct. Kangxi period

  

A pair of Chinese export porcelain famille verte covered vases. Matthew & Elisabeth Sharpe Antiques, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. The collection of Georges Perrier, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The vases in very good condition with some wear, rubbing, light shallow surface chips at edges and fritting at edges consistent with age and use.

No areas of repair or repainting when examined under blacklight. The covers likely associated and with restorations to both undersides (possibly to create snug fit with vases) and repairs to both finials, visible under blacklight and to the naked eye.
