Ming Dynasty furniture is known for its simplicity with sparse lines and little decoration while Qing furniture emphasizes detail and extravagance. Chinese furniture from southern China tends to be very elaborate whereas furniture from northern China is big, heavy and grand. The furniture designs that came out of China during the Ming dynasty were much admired by the Europeans and have had a major influence on Western interior design. The timeless simplicity and perfect proportions of Ming furniture allow these pieces to grace even the most modern and contemporary homes. Pieces from this period are high-valued antiques and today are quite hard to find.

These Qing dynasty Lattice Screen doors retains much of its original character, which has a wonderful distressed look. In western interior design these Lattice Screen Doors would be great for a doorway in any living room area, a Headboard, Doors for a closet, or made into a screen for a room divider. This is a Rare find and it is in very good Antique condition. These four panels of Authentic Antique Chinese Doors might be from demolished Buddhist Temples.

The doors are handcrafted with Lattice works and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the traditional craftsmanship for furniture construction in ancient China. Made from we believe - elm wood. After downloading the pictures we noticed the panels were upside down: so the Lattice part of the doors should be at the top part. However, you can use them either way as you wish. Measures: 96.5 inches high x 24.5 inches wide x 2.5 inches thick Please note there are worn parts on the wood and it is over 150 years old.
