This gorgeous antique, 19th century navy blue Chinese silk robe features embroidered motifs of flowers in ginger jars & front pieces with blue iris. The wide embroidered collar, cuffs, & hem are off-white with delicate embroideries of gardens, pagodas, & birds with forbidden stitch.

Heavy blue silk jacquard lining (may have been added). In very good vintage condition, has a bit of fraying, & a musty smell. Length - 40" sleeve tip to neck - 25" chest - 53 around.
