FINE RARE ANTIQUE 19TH c QI'ING CHINESE CANTONESE EMBROIDERED SILK ROUNDEL/FAN! Offered for sale is a beautiful antique 19th century Qi'ing dynasty Chinese Cantonese embroidered roundel or better to say 2 roundels put back to back, framed and covered with glass. Most likely used to be a screen from an antique Chinese fan. On a light beige silk material features intricately embroidered peacocks and other exotic birds on a landscape surrounded with blooming flowers and plants. The peacocks stand on a rockery.

Embroidered in finest satin stitches using multi- colored silk threads. The piece measures 10 (25.4 cm) in diameter. Condition : good antique condition overall with no significant damages or imperfections aside some general darkening to the silk background material due to the old age.
