Antique 21in Chinese Ming or Qing Immortal Guan Yin Scroll Painting To Restore

Antique Over 21 inch Chinese Ming or Qing Painting or Scroll - an original painted work that appears to be on fine silk laid down on paper. We believe this depicts an Immortal next to Kwan Yin. Measures 21 3/4" high x 13 1/4" wide within borders - 22 3/4" x 15 1/4" overall. One of our neighbors is a retired Chinese speaking professor - they believe this is many centuries old but stressed that while they lived in China they never did museum work. ESTATE FRESH PICK AS IS TO RESTORE: In as is, as found, as discovered in a Miami area sale of estate items poor condition requiring professional conservation. Heavy losses, flaking, creases, staining, at least one hole and more. Having said that, much of the faces, figures, vase, teapot, likely Ming robe and shoes have essentially survived. Unframed with tattered laid down borders.

Additionally appears to have been laid down on backing paper (with many visible rear stains). This item will be approximately 28 x 20 x 2 inches when packed and weigh approximately 3 pounds. All items insured by our choice of either the carrier or by our own policy.
