Antique Chinese Archaic Calligraphy Yixing Zisha Teapot EX COND

  
Marked on the bottom with the square 4-character mark seen on late 19th - early 20th century yixing pots, and a 2-character mark on the lid. Excellent condition, there is an extremely small chip on one of the bottom corners, extremely minor. It stands 4.75" tall (12cm), measures 6.75" from lid to spout (17cm), and the bottom is 4.5 square (11.5cm). This would make a great every-day pot, as it was made back when they used 100% pure yixing, today a lot of pieces are made up of a high percentage of kaolin clay.
