Antique Chinese Bed

ANTIQUE CHINESE PARANAKAN BED from Indonesia. Paranakan people migrated from China to Indonesia during the 15th through the 17th centuries.

Solid teak wood construction with hand carving and some polychrome and gilt, original double frame assembly for mosquito net. Disassembles for easy moving although base is very heavy. Has a custom sized modern mattress. It shows evidence of use so not a museum piece; however, it makes an attractive focal point for decorating. Sorry, the mirror is NOT included.

8h x 7w x 31d with 24 seat height. Please contact me if you have any questions; bed is located in Detroit, Michigan area so local sale would be preferable. Must arrange for your own transportation.
