Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Celadon Porcelain Pillow Shen De Tang Zhi Mark. Rare antique, 19th century, Chinese, Qing Dynasty, crackle glazed Celadon porcelain pillow in the Song Dynasty style.

The sides decorated on the center with an incised lotus flower, flanked by elaborate openwork with incised floral designs, the interior with two ducks figures, the opening adorned with the images of four bats in low relief. Top decorated with incised floral pattern. The base incised with four-character Shen De Tang Zhi mark ('Made for the Hall of Prudent Virtue'). PROVENANCE: Acquired from an old Canadian collection of Oriental Art. Placed for sale for the first time.

CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing its age and usage. An intact, no restorations or repairs. A flaw in the interior, on the connection of wall with the top part, that occurred during the firing process (firing crack). Length: 19.5 cm (7.68 inches).
