CHINESE EXPORT SILVER DRAGON JARDINERE c1875 SIGNED. A rare c1875 Chinese export silver four dragon jardinere or center bowl. Signed in three very long series of characters. Raised rectangular with pierced bamboo galley rim. The front with battling dragons in clouds fighting over the sacred pearl. Here in fire lotus medallion form. Side panel with figure in lush garden meeting with elder, gazebo, and pine trees. Atop four arching back Chinese dragon supports.

This rare c1875 Chinese export silver dragon jardinere. Is 8 inches X 7 inches dragon to dragon. And weighs 21 1/2 standard ounces.

Retains near original detail, examine the facial expression of the figures in side panel. Few tiny tips of claws missing.
