CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TEA SET c1890 "BAMBOO ON HAND HAMMERED SURFACE" 37 OZ. A fine c1890 hand crafted Chinese export silver tea service. Raised circular form with hand raised and chased.

Bamboo displays set atop very soft hand hammered surfaces. Covers retain the original notched and curled bamboo finial set. Conforming notched bamboo spout and handles. The cream jug and covered sugar with the original gold wash interior. Period engraved bamboo lettered initials CAP for the original owner. This Chinese export silver teapot is 10 1/2 inches long. And the complete set is 37 1/2 standard ounces. Handle secure and retains the original heat stops. Which contain material from endangered species.
