One of the earliest working, and most renowned Chinese silversmiths. The identical design tea service from Cutshing is illustrated in Forbes text, page 87. That set in the Davis Collection.

Further, the identical CU/k (Cutshing) hallmark is illustrated in Forbes as well. Script monogrammed F to one side for the original owner. This rare c1840 Chinese export silver teapot is in inches. From handle to spout and weighs a bit over 19 standard ounces. Well struck hallmarks as shown. The identical Cutshing hallmarks illustrated page 244 Figure 231 in Forbes's text.
