CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TRAVEL SEWING BOX c1875 RARE FORM. A fine and rare c1875 Chinese export silver travel sewing box. The only example of this form we have observed. Shaped as an egg with acanthus rising from base. Both base and hinged cover with all over royal chrysanthemum. Sprays in various stages of bloom set atop stippled surfaces.
