Antique Chinese white jade hand carved statue of a sitting Buddha on a lotus, finely carved with a serene facial expression as if in deep meditation, notted hair, bare chested and with a flowing rob tied around the waist. The white jade material is translucent and of fine quality with some scattered inclusions throughout. Circa: 1900, Late 19th Century Qing.
Condition: good antique condition, minor pitting on jade surfaces consistent with age, one very fine natural hairline to back right shoulder area, see detailed photos.
