JAPANESE STERLING IRIS SUGAR BOWL MEIJI PERIOD - SIGNED CHIYODAYA This is a very fine and rare late Meiji sterling (950 pure) streaming iris atop hand hammered background sugar bowl and cover. Signed for the rarely seen late Meiji firm of Chiyodaya. Signed Chiyodaya and characters for "pure silver". Which is at least 950 pure, higher than sterling. This Japanese sterling (950 pure) hand crafted iris covered sugar.

Bowl is 4 3/4 inches across handles and about 5 standard ounces. Rich sterling (950 pure) patina.
