About the item: Stunning , large antique Chinese Scholar's bamboo brush pot, c 1820. The pot is deeply carved and the carving is of the highest quality , depicting 33 perfectly carved figures in a house and a woodland scene. This is a fine quality Chinese antique with a real presence. It has aged beautifully with good colour/patina and is in perfect condition with no obvious defects or losses. I have travelled extensively throughout Africa, Asia, India, North America and much of my collection has been sourced in the Country of origin.
