Vintage FICKS REED Chinese Asian Rattan Bamboo Lounge Chair & Ottoman Boho Chic

ITEM: A rare 60s-70s FICKS REED large white rattan lounge chair and ottoman in a modern Asian/Chinese style or boho vintage chic. Includes the original two green thick cotton cushions. DIAMENSIONS: Chair: 30W x 25H x 32D Seat Height w/o cushion 10.5, with cushion: 15.5H Ottoman: 30W x 25D x 14.5H.

MANUFACTURE: Ficks Reed, Cincinnati, Ohio. FEATURES: Mid Century modern chinese chippendale or boho style with sleek low profile design. Very well made of thick solid rattan thats hand tied with reed and nailed w mortise tenon joints and metal support brackets. A very well made piece. A seat and back cushion in a light green cotton fabric with thick 5 inch cushions.

CONDITION: Overall, in good vintage condition for age with light wear and age related marks of worn or chipped off paint. The two cushions have normal wear for age also. Could use a new paint job and cushions to look new.

Note: The ottoman does not have a cushion , so youll need to replace it. The six seat cushion support straps all work, but should be replaced since they are dried and stretched out.

They should be replaced with new straps or plywood for more firmness. The chair can be repainted your colors to look new or left vintage chic. The cushions could be either be reused or replaced with new firmer ones and new coverings.
