A medium size pear shape teapot with moulded fluting. Decorated with a bird on prunus branches. 15cm across and 11 cm high.
Recovered from the well documented wreck of the Ca Mau, Vietnam 1998-99. Appears to have had the handle extensively restored and some overspray discolouring around the area and rim.The glaze is quite good where original. Some marine concretions encrusted on inside. Very few seemingly were recovered handles intact.
